Yoshiharu Ishida
Graduated law department, Kobe University in 1956. Completed law school summer session of Washington State University in 1977, law school summer program of University of Wisconsin in 1989, and law school summer program of Santa Clara University in 1994. His field of expertise is international law and US law.
Worked at trading company (Chori Co., Ltd.) and Swiss-based foreign-capital enterprises (Roche, Givaudan) as Solicitor General, currently performs TCL institute representative. Has many acquaintances to lawyers inside and outside the international legal profession because he has consistently worked the field of Justice. Also serves as managing director of Japan Translation Association, director of Legal Communication Association, and auditor of Babel Co., Ltd.
Wrote books such as "Complete manual for Legal Drafting", "Front line of law business in the West", "Cinema de Law" and so on. |

 Fumi Fujinaga
From Kagawa Prefecture in Japan. Aimed for Japanese language teacher first, but changed her life direction after hard debate experience in English club of university.
Engaged in job to establish and open foreign joint venture company of distribution industry in day time and went to night class of Babel (former Babel Tokyo school in Kanda area) and learned translation skills at night.
Resigned the job when she had a baby. Worked at home and took in translation of non-fictions and business documents, then came back to Babel and studied under Ms. Yoko Katayama.
Soon later, started new career in Babel as teacher of correspondence course and on-site school. Again realized the importance of basic knowledge and full of interest of translation in her process of teaching translation skills to others.
When Babel University was opened in 1999, was in charge of direction of textbook creation for Vocabulary translation.
Currently, works at one of the smallest public relations law office in Tokyo as secretary and translator. Lives in Chiba-city, Chiba. |
